There are 4 different types of democracy in the U.S. and they are Marxism, Elitism, Bureaucratic Elitism, and Pluralism. The reason why I think the U.S. is run by Pluralism is because of how the government is run, like we have the Judical branch, Legislative branch, and the Executive branch and they all work together to run the government properly because if we didn't have them we wouldn't have a proper government and everything would be crazy. Another example is Chinatown in NY and how that group works together to keep their traditions going and to keep their background around. These are just a few examples of how Pluralism works in the United States.
