Pluralism In Democracy

After learning about the four theories of governance, Marxism, Elitism, Bureacratic Elitism, and Pluralism, it was clear that Pluralism is the theory that most represents the government in the United States today. It is a theory of governance where policies are shaped by collective bargaining and there is one main leader that has many followers who agree with that leader. Also, pluralism is a theory when many different cultures are equally represented in the government. An example of pluralism in our government today is diversity of cultures in the United States.

Based on this information in these two articles, it shows that the United States will continue to become more and more diverse and continue to take into consideration the ideas and needs of every race and culture, therefore showing that the United States has a pluralist democracy.
