Americas Marxism Democracy
I believe that Marxism best describes how America's democracy works. Marxism is described as a government that's dominated by capitalists. Our businesses and companies are controlled by the riches individuals, which means everything we have is a monopoly. With this system it makes it difficult for small businesses to profit, but in turn it supplies many jobs for large companies. America is in many ways a Marxist democracy because the top 1% holds the majority of the money and the elite have much more say in elections due to the amount of money they're able to contribute to the candidate/cause they want. “Under capitalism, the proletariat, the working class or “the people,” own only their capacity to work; they have the ability only to sell their own labor.” This is comparable to the lower class of our democracy, because since they cannot give money to favorable candidates they cannot make a change in the governmental process.

Marxism describes American democracy the best out of all four of the types of democracies. Marxism is basically a government that's founded on capitalism. American businesses, companies, and even the government are controlled by the wealthiest of individuals, which more or less befines a monopoly. Marxism can be seen in American democracy because the economy is controlled by the top 1% of the population. In turn they have more say in elections because they're able to contribute a greater amount of money to the candidate/cause they want, and money has more of say than equality does. American democracy also mimics Marxism because there are pretty distinct social classes that divide our people up. The elite, who hold all the money and legitimate power, are known as the upper class. The next division is known as the middle class. These people don't have nearly as much money as the upper class but they are still pretty well off working in decent paying jobs. The last division is known as the lower or working class who do just that. These people take the menial jobs no one else wants and get paid minimum wage, sometimes less for it. In marxism classes are very distinct similar to the slightly more blurred classes in American society. Overall Marxism goes hand in hand with being conservative and leaning more toward the right on the political scale. Judging from our most recent presidential election, American clearly wanted a republican leader due to the fact that Marxism is more or less programmed into our society.
