What is America?
I think Marxism best describes American democracy, but should be pluralism. Marxism is divided into classes, revolved around money and the higher class you are, the more money and power you have, which is unfair for the poor people. Even though some people may say, oh, they can just get a job and make more money. But the people saying that are probably people that are rich because of who they are and the type of connections they have. For example Rex Tillerson, the CEO of Exxon Mobile is the Secretary of State. I thought that everyone was elected by us, the people. But I didn't know that he got to that position because of who he knows. I feel thats unfair because there was probably someone that works harder than Tillerson, but it doesn't matter.
