Over the past week, there has been much talk about the possibility of President Trump being impeached. For Trump to be impeached, at least two thirds of the senate has to vote him to be guilty on at least one article of impeachment. Here is a link that explains the process in more detail:
Because of his reactions to the events in Charlottesville, many citizens in America began to further question if he should still be president. On social media there has been a hashtag going around titled "#ImpeachTrump." If you go on twitter and simply search "#impeach," Donald Trump's profile is the top suggestion. Furthering the possibility, it has been released that Trump is only 6 votes away from being impeached. This would mean that his vice president, Pence, will take office for the rest of his term.
This link explains Trump's current position in terms of being impeached:
Based on the articles and the background, consider these questions:
Do you think Trump will be impeached?
If he is impeached, do you think Pence will do a better job as president?
Looking further down the line, if Pence becomes president, what changes do you think will be made to our country?
