Alaska lawmakers concerned about a possible strike

North Korea vs the US is becoming a major issue but North Korea announced that it is "carefully examining" plans to launch a missile attack on Guam, lawmakers in Alaska. This means the other parts of the U.S. are expressing concern about an attack on their state. The senator of Alaska is really concerned about a North Korean missile attack on his state and the rest of the country. The United States, in general, are scared of the actions North Korea wants to take but the positive thing is in California and Alaska have the machine that can destroy the missile in the air as an example bullets vs bullet against each other. The US has 37 of those machines which can help our nation to stay powerful but also to become united and end this crisis. But Trump warned North Korea on Tuesday that any threats to the U.S. "will be met with Fire and Fury like the world has never seen." Donald Trump is making sure that North Korea better stop or things are going to get ugly.

                                                   The power of North Korea
North Korea directed 2 missile tests last month that experts say emphasized the communist country's growing threat. Both of the missiles were fired high up in the sky and landed at sea near Japan, but the experts told that the weapons could reach Alaska, Los Angeles or Chicago if fired at a normal, flattened path.

                                          Why is this topic important?
This topic is really important because North Korea vs U.S been going against each other for a long time. But North Korea is continuing to threat Guam, Alaska and of course United states but Donald Trump is getting “fire and fury” to put an end to all those threats that North Korea is going to nuke/bomb and generally destroy us.
                                           Discussions Questions:
1. When is the right time for U.S to put an end on North Korea?
 2. Should the US be less talkative and more action taken?
3. Is North Korea and the United States the beginning of a new war?
4. Is this action “Fire and Fury” going to destroy the economy of our nation?

  1. I believe the right time for the United States to put an end to North Korea is right after they get violent. I feel that the United States shouldn't start the violence but should certainly end it! I think the United States should continue to put out threats if they are being given, but should have a set plan if violence does spark. I do believe that if things turn violent it will be the start of a war between the United States and North Korea. I think that the fire and fury action won't destroy our economy, if anything, taking no action at all will destroy the economy because of all the damage being done. The fire and fury action is simply protecting the United States from future violence.

  2. I believe that taking action right niw is the best solution, don't wait for a missile to hit; prevent it from happening. Absolutely, it should be clear (by now) that talking can't prevent an inevitable war, stop everything now, and not have to suffer the consequences. It's almost a part of human nature to have conflict (no matter the era) time and time again we've shown our capacity for war. Yes, this "fire and fury" could very well destroy our economy and could claim the lives of many.

  3. I believe the United States should take action when North Korea gets violent. Right now the whole "war" between the United States and North Korea is all threats. No one has taken action yet and we should not be the first. Just like Trump mentioned with the Fire and Fury action. That action is okay, although it is protecting the lives of many US citizens it could destroy our economy. Also, like Stephen Cho said we should stop everything now and not have to suffer the consequences. If North Korea or the United States do end up firing a missile it could turn into a huge war and take the lives of many.
