~Trump's Speech to Boy Scouts is Far Too Politial~
Yestrerday evening President Trump gave a speech to the Boy Scouts Jamboree in West Virginia, however, its unlike other presidents' in the past. President Roosevelt chose to talk about good citizenship Truman about fellowship, Bush about serving others. Trump had a different approach.
Trump starts his speech by saying, "Who the h*** wants to speak about politics?" ith a prepared speech about the merits of scouting. However quickly after stating this, he dives in head first to brag about the election and to talk about the government. He states that "Our stock market has picked up since the election November 8. Do we remember that date? Was that a beautiful date? What a date. Do you remember that famous night on television, November 8, where they said – these dishonest people – where they said there is no path to victory for Donald Trump? … But do you remember that incredible night with the maps and the Republicans are red and the Democrats are blue, and that map was so red, it was unbelievable and they didn’t know what to say? " These are kids he's talking to, who probably don't even care. Its extremely off topic and had nothing to do with the scouts.
After this speech at the Jamborree many parents became outreaged, and its not hard to see why. One parent said, "Done with scouts after you felt the need to have my kid listen to a liar stroke his ego" as well as another parent stating on Facebook, "Wow, this is what you are teaching the Boy Scouts? To be disrespectful to a Past President. One that had been a Boy Scout, unlike the current President. Completely disrespectful!"
Trump never even got to his prepared speech after rambling on for 35 minutes, rudely commenting about his competition Clinton as well as Obama. The scouts, aged 12-18, had only recieved a lesson on disrepectfulness rather than a valuable lesson like previous presidents.
