Only six months into the job, Sean Spicer resigned from his infamous position as White House Press Secretary on Friday, after the President released his new choice of Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci. Spicer decided it was best to move on from the job and give the White House administration a fresh slate to start on, even after Trump told him to stay.
From day one, Sean Spicer hasn't been liked by a majority of the media. This all started on Trump's first day in office when Spicer said Trump had "the largest crowd to ever witness an inauguration...both in person and around the globe." He has been known to fight back against the media and tell things other than the truth.
In his time serving in the White House, Sean Spicer has become one of, if not the most, well-known Press Secretary ever. Thanks to Melissa McCarthy and Saturday Night Live, impersonations of Spicer were sure to give everyone a laugh, setting politics aside. While most enjoyed watching these comedies, Trump tweeted on Friday that Spicer "took tremendous abuse from the Fake News Media."
In a statement released on politico.com, Sean Spicer told how it was a "tremendous honor" to work for the President, and "in just 6 months, President Trump and his staff have done great work to advance the interests of the American people..." Spicer is said to continue on the job through August.

Now onto Anthony Scaramucci, the newest member to the Trump team and the Communications Director. Scaramucci has created a well-known name for himself on Wall Street, but other than that, many were surprised to see the new role he was appointed to in the White House.
In the past two years, Scaramucci has turned from despising Trump, to being one of his greatest supporters and defenders. Back in 2015, Scaramucci called Trump a "hack politican" and told him that "he's got a big mouth." In response to mentions of this on Friday, Scaramucci told the media that making those comments was "one of the biggest mistakes" he's made, and says that he has apologized to the President on multiple counts.
What does the future hold for Scaramucci as the Communications Director? Well, CNBC says he will be a great new addition. From breaking the hurt relationship between Trump and the Republican communications team, to being loyal to the President, and well liked by the media, Scaramucci seems to be a "perfect fit" for the job.
With Sean Spicer gone, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been appointed to the new White House Press Secretary. She is said to be one of Trump's favorites, being tough and straight-forward when defending the President. She has a different style than that of Sean Spicer, and will bring a firmer presence. Sanders has big shoes to fill, and hopes are that she will be able to create greater ties between the media and the White House.
