American Political Culture as we know it, is definitely not Consensual. Consensual means that the people of America have mutual consent on Political Culture, which is inaccurate based on the article. Based on the article, the author depicts these people from Red America and Blue America as so. Both have completely different ideas on how life should be. Those in Red America believe that everyone is same and those who say for an example hire a nanny instead of watching their kids is showing off. Blue America on the other hand thinks they are special people and people who are special try and show off. Both would judge the other side for not being as they are, which shows how Political Culture is Conflictual.
