Is America Conflictual or Consensual?

America today can be argued as conflictual or consensual in many different ways, but what is it really?

As you can see here, this may look like a random diagram where the states of the U.S. are rearranged to make two people fighting . But in reality, this makes lots of sense. Not only does this show that America is conflictual, but it also shows how it is. Those states are arranged as red and blue states. This is because those two factions have completely different views on the government.

Two completely different views on government, most of the time, causes conflicts. This completely extinguishes the idea of a Consensual America, but shines on the idea of a Conflictual America.

Blue states are the elitist group who are college educated and wealthy, causing them to think rudely and judgy. The red states, however, are humble and are usually farmers, causing them to think less educated and want to have things more simple. Seeing both ways of what government should be like will cause major controversies between both factions and therefore cause conflictual disagreements. Overall ending with a Conflictual America.

Discussion questions:

●Is this what America should be viewed as? If not, what could fix this conflictual view?

●Will blue states and red states ever agree? How?
